Great Scent. Poor Quality Wax /wick
Yankee Candle has taken a complete nose dive. The wax melts completely to the bottom and the wick turns into a flame thrower no matter how trim it is. At this point there is no scent left too it and it's a fire hazard.

Stovetop potpourri smell in a jar!
I bought this with several other holiday scents and burned this one first because it seemed more like a fall scent and I'm not quite ready for Christmas scents yet. I burned it in the entry and it made the whole house smell amazing. It smells like homemade stovetop potpourri I used to make with orange peels, cloves, and cinnamon sticks

Once wax pools, it smells mostly of spice
Smells great with a refreshing citrus cold, but once the wax pooled it was mostly spice that I got from it. It reminded me of Home Sweet Home with the sharp spice note.

With notes of turmeric, white peppercorn and tea leaf (and pumpkin seed?), I know this scent should complex and spicy. The general description touts bright orange zest, candied ginger and sweet vanilla, which suggests a fresh, sweeter aroma. Okay, so complex, spicy, zesty and sweet. I bought it. Burned it for several hours to get a complete wax pool. Sadly, it lacks dimension and clarity. The citrus should be vibrant in this candle, but it isn't. The orange zest is weak and the overall composition smells like a well-used Kitchen Spice wax tart that's exhausted half of its fragrance. It seems everything is diluted, thin and flat. This was promptly returned.

Clove notes are strong
If you like clove and ginger scents, I recommend this one! Both notes come through pretty strongly, so if you're looking for more a 'sweet' versus 'spice', this is not for you. I wouldn't buy a large candle of this, but the little votive/mini size will spread nicely for my tastes.
