Oh this candle smelled so nice and burned very clean. It’s important to me to have a clean burning candle that just needs the wick trimmed each lighting. The fragrance was so nice and really spread throughout the house.

POV: It's o roiny Monday morning, your husband is off to work, your kids are off to school, & the smell of maple bacon lingers from breakfast. Then you remember you have a new Chesapeake Bay Candle to try and it's called "Ocean Retreat" Immediately yes please!! The candle itself is beautiful, the burn is slow and even, and the scent is there without being overpowering. I'm have a total Ocean Retreat experience! 🕯️🌊😌

The Chesapeake Bay Candle Ocean Retreat smells so good! I love the fresh scent of bergamot with hints of sage, linen and water lily. This soy candle lasts for more than 24+ hrs of burn time. Added bonus is the beautiful glass textured jar.

Coastal Calm for the End of Summer.
Chesapeake Bay Candle in Ocean Retreat has all the right notes to move out of summer. The Scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering. It's an easy everyday scent for late summer.
Aside from the fragrance, the container stands out. The cut glass paired with the silver lid gives it a distinct look that is decorative and display worthy. I have mine styled right in the center if my kitchen nook table, it completely works with the relaxed, Nancy Meyers coastal aesthetic.
The medium size gives a steady scent that fills the space nicely. This candle us a gorgeous seasonal transition piece that actually looks like home decor.

Gorgeous Candle!
I received my Chesapeake Bay Candle in Ocean Retreat and was so impressed! The packaging was nice and secure, to start with. When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the candle looks! It smells exactly how I would imagine it would-just like a day on the ocean. The scent has an amazing staying power and throw. I’m more than happy with this candle and would definitely buy it again and buy some as gifts!

Not much of a scent
This Chesapeake Bay Candle is very aesthetically pleasing. The simple decorative design on the glass makes for a nice candle. The candle smells amazing when sniffing up close however I don’t notice much of a scent when it’s lit. So if you are going for a very light scent but just want a decorative candle this would be great . If you are looking to have a scented room this wouldn’t be what I recommend.

The design of this candle is beautiful, and the scent smells like a lovely perfume when you smell it unlit. However, once I lit the candle, I could barely smell the fragrance at all. I was really disappointed because I expected the scent to fill the room , but unfortunately , it was almost unnoticeable while burning.

It came in the mail, well packaged and in a beautiful box. It would make a great gift. I am very pleased with this candle!

I received this Chesapeake Bay candle in the scent of Ocean Retreat for free in exchange for my honest review. The candle itself is beautiful and I love the decorative gladd it came in. The smell is calming and clean. It stayed lit all night and didnt burn fast but the smell isn't strong and didn't last too long. Still a geat candle but maybe for small rooms.

They have a nice very elegant design, their size is perfect to last long enough, it has a super pleasant smell like a man’s perfume, teae its lid which helps you put it on when you turn it off and so its fragrance is preserved for longer, I love it!

This Chesapeake Bay Candle is really pretty. It is small but in a very pretty glass jar with lots of detail. The scent is very faint. I wish I could smell it more when it burns. It is a nice clean smell. It does burn very evenly.

Great scent, although not strong
I like this candle, I would call it good but not great. The reason it's not great is because the scent (which is amazing) is not very strong. It's lovely and feels like an ocean breeze, but you have to be right up close to it. It burns at a decent pace and I've been able to leave it going for a while. Bummed about the lack of scent, but it is an adorable candle. I light my candles for about two hours at a time so I'll get many more uses of this candle at this rate.

This Chesapeake Bay Ocean retreat candle is absolutely lovely! The container of the candle is beautiful. It looks elegant, classy yet simple. The scent is amazing with it being coastally inspired with hints of lemon, jasmine, linen musk, bergamot, and white peppercorn! It definitely has a nice, strong fragrance, not too strong but you can smell it when you open the candle before you even burn it. I use mine with a candle warmer and it immediately fills the room with a nice light ocean retreat scent! I love this candle, the look, the smell, everything and would highly recommend it!

I love the glass that the candle is in. At first sight it is very appealing. Opening the candle I got an instant smell and it smells amazing. It has a men’s cologne scent. Once burning the candle for about an hour I still wasn’t able to smell and scent. Very easy to use and burns slow but the smell just isn’t strong enough to fill the air. Otherwise I love the glass style and actual scent of the candle.
