Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Cinnamon, Strong Scent, Amazing Throw The strongest note by far is the cinnamon, followed by the clove. I do get sugary apple, but it's faint in comparison. This is the first Wax Melt that I've tried and I do love this option. A little goes a very long way.! Using a standard tea light warmer, I've used about 1/3 of 1 melt (6 melts per package) and I've gone through 2 tea lights on that little bit and the wax level is still about the same as when I started! This is definitely the most economical Yankee product. Another benefit is that I can burn this for a few minutes to change the scent of several rooms, then blow out the tea light (if you burn regular candles that short of a time, you'll get a tunneled candle). So this is perfect for a quick scent fix!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells like the retired Apple Spice Does anyone remember the now long-retired Apple Spice with the picture of a donut on the label? This fragrance smells a lot like that—if not the exact same scent. I’m glad about that, as I have been looking for it for a long time. I definitely don’t get any frosting notes like the scent description says, or any kind of bakery-cupcake fragrance from it, but what I do get is the impression of a spicy, baked-apple pie filling or apple cider donut—but just to be clear, there’s no pie crust note in this. I love this scent, and I will definitely be purchasing the large jar at some point in the future and maybe the meltcup if it’s available. It’s sweet, spicy, yummy with a very authentic, crisp, fresh apple; nothing synthetic about this fragrance. It really smells like a cider donut with cinnamon sugar I’d get in the fall. A real winner. All my melts in the new packaging have been very strong and I’ve been super happy with them so far. I like these far better than the old Yankee tarts melts. Buy this one if you like sweet, yummy, bakery apple fragrances. I think it would work great for fall, all the way through the long winter as a warm, cozy, inviting fragrance.
