At one time, no matter what candle scent you purchased, you could be assured of a decent scent throw. That is no longer the case. I initially had the Cliffside Sunrise csndlevin my kitchen and coukd smell nothing. I then moved it to my ½ bathroom [a really small room], and I couldn't smell it in their either. I will most definitely never buy this scent again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cliffside Sunrise Original Large Jar Candle Feel in love with the room spray version of this scent. Decided to give the candle a try. Not as good as expected. The "scent throw" is virtually non-existent. The only good thing is, in comparison to another scent I purchased, White Gardenia, this candle did not burn down as fast. I took advantage of a sale with Cliffside Sunrise, and purchased 6 candles, and I'm only on the second candle, the two so far, burning a MINIMUM of 10 DAYS, versus, when I purchased White Gardenia, I believe I purchased 4 of this scent, and each one I had, burned completely, in only 3 DAYS each. Both scents I've burned all day! Also, I think this size candle would burn, middle to edge, BETTER, if it were a TWO WICK. I prefer to stick with "Cliffside Sunrise" room spray. Just my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tropical strawberry This is a nice fruity fragrance for the warmer months or anytime you need a bright pick me up. It’s just a positive scent, and one I think a lot of people will enjoy. It’s mostly a strawberry scent, I did expect more of the tropical vibes to come through though. It’s sweet but has a nice brightness to it that makes it not overly sweet. I don’t really notice the florals, which is fine by me. It’s actually very similar to White Strawberry Bellini but with more of a tropical/exotic twist. The throw is pretty good, about 6.5/10. It’s not an overly strong scent but will travel through a couple rooms.

The gorgeous scent and color got me through the weirdly rainy spring looking to summer, but this didn't burn evenly down the sides even though I babied the candle by trimming the wick, freezing the candle between uses most of the time, and burning for the recommended time which I don't have to do with other Yankees or higher end candles.

I decided to buy the large one because I really liked it. For some reason the scent is really different. The larger one smells like cherry chapstick? I guess you can order the votive first, and if you like that just order those and don't buy the larger sizes. Really odd. I don't have this issues with the other candles so far that I bought.

I have a very large bedroom which is where I use all of my yankee candles. This one won't cover the entire room like the stronger black cherry (this doesn't smell the same), but it will still give a pleasant scent in the area I'm in at the time. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys similar tastes without having something as specific as a single scent such as cherry, strawberries, apple, etc. I'm unable to quite describe it but it's worth trying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inviting Tropical Fragrance I purchased this online based on the description from the fragrance notes and I must say that the scent is inviting even though I've only taken a cold-sniff. Kind of reminds me of White Strawberry Bellini but less sweet. It definitely has a tropical vibe and is best suited as a spring/summer scent so I will wait until then to burn it and get the true fragrance profile. 4 stars because I like the overall scent (cold-sniff) and the color but haven't had a chance to see if it smells as pleasant once lit.

I had been searching for a beachy/tropical candle, but most of the scents were either too strong or too musky. This scent is blended perfectly to create a light mix of florals that has you coming back to smell it again. The large candle is the best for your money if you really like a scent because it lasts a long time.

I actually bought 3 more to hopefully last me through winter. Smelling cliff side sunrise reminds me of a warm tropical beach...definitely needed once the snow starts to fall.
