Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was expecting. I ordered cliffside sunrise because I got a little YC scratch and sniff in the mail and couldn’t stop smelling it!! I know there was a lot of hype so I tried it. Let me say that before I received my order I saw this YC and a lot of other new scents at walmart for $16.88 (a tad annoying knowing what they cost)... anyway, I got really excited to smell it in person but was so shocked that I didn’t smell like the scratch and sniff. I told myself that maybe they sold “seconds” at these big box stores which is why the price was so low. But upon receiving my order it was just as I smelled in person. It’s not entirely unpleasant but it has a real artificial quality that is reminiscent of cheap body spray. The tropical starfruit is way more pleasant and natural smelling. Overall the scent isn’t terrible but it’s not great either. I don’t think I could burn it without a window open.

Even though I love ALL of the scents, as soon as I opened this I knew it was something different, something special. Took my breath away, in a good way. It's fruity, and although it's a strong scent, it's fresh, and feels light. I went to reorder and it's out of stock, and I can see why. They knocked it out of the park with this one.

For me the top note is strawberry which I love. I wanted a candle that would make my home smell welcoming, cozy but yet tropical. I was happy to purchase the last one in the store. The throw is excellent. I can smell it in the kitchen, dinning and living rooms. I used my coupon and $5 candle cash towards this purchase.

The candle color is lovely, too, and along with its lovely scent, helps to create a nice atmosphere. The throw isn’t heavy but it’s enough to fill my large living area. I’d say this one is nice if you’re looking for something with subtle presence.
