Not like the original, but not awful.
Of the five candles I just bought, this is the only one that seems reasonably close to the original in terms of quality and throw. I don’t think it’s quite as strong as the old version, but I burn it in a small room, so it’ll work. I really miss the days when one YC could fragrance a whole floor of a house.

VERY DISAPPOINTED - NO FRAGRANCE
We have burned the candles and we cannot smell any pleasant orders coming from the candles. In the past we have always enjoyed the pleasing smells of Yankee Candles but this particular fragrance we just feel very disappointed knowing we wasted our money. We ordered online as there is not a local store to bring them back too.

COMING BACK FOR MORE!
I had bought several Cafe Al Fresco several years ago (maybe 2021/22), and burned them once I finished Christmas candles (Jan, 2025). I am not a coffee drinker but love the smell. This candle did not disappoint. I love strongly scented candles, and this one fit the bill. I agree with some other reviewers who described it as a coffee and cream smell or like being in a coffee shop. I have bought many coffee candles from Yankee, Bath & Body, and Victoria's Candles (a private company). This is by far by favorite Yankee coffee candle. It sure beats the one wicker Chesapeake Bay caramel latte I bought from Yankee back in 2022 which did not pool well and hardly had any throw. I have come back for more. I would rate the throw as between and 8 and 10, yet it was not overpowering.
