I had thought this would've been more cedar scented, but it's weirdly even better with a splash of freshness thrown in there as well - so its more of a clean woodsy-ish scent. A little like they added fresh cotton/ linen type essential oil into the overall mix - though it is an awesome scent (different when cold), that gives a good throw (evn in smaller sized jars) that make the house smell cool & clean. While I thought this was strictly soy, minus star bc it's actually soy mixed with *paraffin* wax (which has been found to be toxic)... and so the windows open in the middle of winter for an air change - defeating the purpose of burning it in the 1st place
