What is Auto-Ship?

Auto-Ship is the most convenient way for you to get the products you love delivered to you on a regular schedule. We automatically send your favorite items based on the frequency that you choose. The service is easy to use and customizable, so you can make changes online anytime you want. Just tell us how often you’d like to receive your products, and we'll take it from there. As an added bonus, you’ll get 20% off the price of all items that you select for Auto-Ship service, as well as free shipping for orders $10 and above! (See details below.)

You always have complete control over your Auto-Ship orders, and we’ll send you an email reminder 5 days before each order is processed for shipping. You can change your delivery frequency, next order date, or item quantity at any time by visiting ‘My Subscriptions’ located within your YankeeCandle.com account. Changes to orders can be made up to 24 hours before the next scheduled shipment date, and you can cancel your Auto-Ship service at any time.

How do I subscribe for Auto-Ship?

Subscribing for Auto-Ship is easy. It can be done while browsing on a product page or while viewing items in your online shopping bag. To get started, simply select the Auto-Ship option for your desired product, choose your preferred shipment frequency, and then check out as usual. You must be logged into your registered online account to check out with an Auto-Ship order (guest checkout is not available for Auto-Ship service).

What will happen after I sign up for Auto-Ship?

After you subscribe to Auto-Ship, you will receive an email confirming your Auto-Ship order. This email will include a link to access the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account, where you can manage your future orders, Auto-Ship items, and account information.

We will process your Auto-Ship orders automatically according to your selected frequency, and you will only be billed on the day your order is shipped. We will send you an email reminder 5 days before each Auto-Ship order is processed. You will also receive email notifications regarding other important information related to your Auto-Ship account, such as if your item is discontinued or out of stock, if you cancel your subscription, and confirmation when an order is placed successfully.

How do the 20% discount and free shipping for Auto-Ship orders work?

All items in an Auto-Ship order receive a discount of 20% off the current price on our website at the time the order is processed for payment. This price may change from order to order — for example, if an item is on sale when your Auto-Ship subscription order is processed, then the amount charged on that occasion will be the sale price minus a 20% discount.

Auto-Ship orders with a pre-tax cost of $10 or above will receive free Economy Shipping. Orders of less than $10 will be charged a $5.99 flat rate for Economy Shipping. We apologize, but orders sent to Alaska or Hawaii are not eligible for free shipping and will be charged a shipping fee in accordance with the current shipping rules on our site.

How do I make changes to my Auto-Ship order?

Once you’ve subscribed, Auto-Ship is easy to manage. By visiting the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your YankeeCandle.com account, you can change your next order processing date, skip your next Auto-Ship delivery, change your Auto-Ship frequency, or cancel an Auto-Ship subscription. Please allow up to 24 hours for modifications or cancellations to be processed.

  • Skip my next delivery:

    To skip a single Auto-Ship delivery, please visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account and click the ‘Skip Order’ button to the right of the upcoming order date. Your next Auto-Ship order will not be processed, and your subscription will automatically resume with the following scheduled shipment after the one you skipped. To ensure that changes are made in time, please select this option at least 24 hours before your scheduled shipment date.

  • Change shipment frequency:

    To modify the delivery frequency for your Auto-Ship items, please visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account.  The current delivery frequency is displayed for each subscribed item in a dropdown menu next to ‘Every’. To change the delivery frequency for an individual Auto-Ship item, simply click the frequency dropdown bar next to the item you would like to modify, and then select your new desired frequency from the dropdown menu. All of your upcoming Auto-Ship orders for that item will be updated according to your new selection. (Please note that the listed shipment date is the day that your order will start to be processed for shipping, not the delivery date.)

  • Send my order now:

    To request that your next Auto-Ship order be processed and shipped right away, please visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account and click the ‘Send Now’ button to the right of the upcoming order date. We will ship your order as soon as possible. (Please note that the listed shipment date is the day that your order will start to be processed for shipping, not the delivery date.)

  • Change shipment date:

    To change the scheduled shipment date for a single Auto-Ship order, please visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account and click the ‘Change Date’ button on top of the order that you wish to change. You will be prompted to select a new date. Once you’ve selected the date and clicked the ‘Save Shipment Date’ button, your next order will begin to be processed for shipping on the new date. Your following orders will resume shipping on the schedule that you originally selected. (Please note that the listed shipment date is the day that your order will start to be processed for shipping, not the delivery date.)

  • Remove an item from an upcoming order (one-time):
    To remove an item from an upcoming Auto-Ship order that you previously placed, please visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account and click the ‘Remove Item’ link to the right of the item you wish to remove. You’ll be prompted to confirm this action. The item will not be sent with your other items in your next Auto-Ship order, but it will continue to ship in future orders. To ensure that changes are made in time, please select this option at least 24 hours before your scheduled shipment date.

  • Cancel a subscription (single item or entire order):

    To permanently cancel an Auto-Ship order, or to permanently remove one or more items from an ongoing subscription order, please visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account and click the ‘Cancel Subscription’ link to the right of the item you wish to cancel. You’ll be prompted to confirm this action and indicate your reason for cancelling. Once you’ve selected a reason and clicked the ‘Cancel Subscription’ button, your Auto-Ship subscription for that item will be cancelled. If you cancel all items in your Auto-Ship order, then the entire order will be cancelled and will no longer be sent to you. You will receive an email notification confirming this action. Please allow up to 24 hours for any modifications or cancellations to be processed.

How do I make changes to my Auto-Ship account information?

To review or modify your Auto-Ship account information, first visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section in your account. Once there, you can change your shipping address or your billing address.

  • Change my shipping address:

    To change your shipping address for an order, click the ‘Edit’ link located directly below your current shipping information. Select a previous shipping address from the dropdown menu or create a new one to add to your account. The new address that you select will be used for all current Auto-Ship subscriptions and any future orders.

  • Change my billing address:

    To change your billing address for an order, click the ‘Edit’ link located directly below your current billing information. This will open a separate page where you can add new payment information. This new billing information will apply to all current Auto-Ship subscriptions and any future orders you place.

Please remember to select ‘OK’ and verify that your updated information has been saved successfully. We kindly ask that you allow up to 24 hours for any modifications or cancellations to be processed.

How do I view my future deliveries?

Your Auto-Ship orders that are next scheduled to be sent to you will be listed in the ‘My Subscriptions’ section of your ‘My Account’ page. Please note that the listed shipment date is the day that your order will start to be processed for shipping, not the delivery date.

How do I combine items from different subscriptions into one order?

Auto-Ship items that have the same scheduled shipment date, shipping address, billing address, and payment method will automatically ship together as one order. If you have more than one Auto-Ship subscription and want them to ship in the same order, simply visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ section of your account and change their next shipment dates to be the same. Please also confirm that the orders you want to combine are all being sent to the same shipping address and have the same billing address and payment method.

Can I add new items to a previously existing Auto-Ship order?

Yes! To do so, you must be logged into your account. Visit the page on our website for the item that you wish to add to your order. Click the ‘Add this to my order on:’ button. When you click this button, you will have the option to add the item to your existing order as a one-time-only purchase or as a continuing Auto-Ship item. Both one-time and subscription items added to an Auto-Ship order will receive a 20% discount and free Economy Shipping for any orders $10 and above. (Please note that the discounted price for subsequent shipments of subscription items may change based on the current price of the item on our site at the time that the order is processed for shipping. Addresses in Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for free shipping.)

Can I have the items in my Auto-Ship order sent to multiple addresses?

We apologize, but all items in a single Auto-Ship order must be sent to the same address. If you wish to have items sent to a different address, please place another Auto-Ship order for those items.

What types of payment are accepted for Auto-Ship orders?

All Auto-Ship orders require a credit card or debit card payment. Alternative payment forms, such as PayPal®, cannot be used for an Auto-Ship purchase.


Auto-Ship Terms

Auto-Ship items will ship to you automatically until you cancel them. By placing this order, you are authorizing us to charge your card for future orders at the frequency and quantity that you have selected. The actual cost of each shipment may vary depending on the quantity and frequency chosen. A 20% discount will be applied to the items based on the current price on YankeeCandle.com at the time of order processing, so the discounted cost may change in subsequent shipments. Orders of $10 (before tax) and above will receive free Economy Shipping on all items that are sent together in a single shipment. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for free shipping and are subject to standard shipping costs as stated on our site.
