Can’t smell it when lit!
The candle itself has a lovely clean, beachy, serene scent when I had smelled it in store. However I’ve been burning it for several hours at a time the last few days and I just can’t smell anything whatsoever. I should have listened to the reviews because I had seen them beforehand but thought maybe other customers got a bad batch. Oh well!

This candle has no scent, I have 3 candles in one room 12x16, I walk in and there is no scent. I do not recommend this candle. I buy between 50 to 75 candles a year.

Disappointed. Barely any throw.
I decided to try several "new" scents while online shopping recently. Most were amazing and will be added to my frequently purchased scents. This one, not so much. The smell when I opened the candle was nice, but very faint. I first began burning it in my kitchen (which is open to most of my main floor) and couldn't smell it at all. It was as if I wasn't even burning a candle! I then moved it to my main floor bathroom, and I can still only vaguely smell it, after I've had it burning in there all day long (literally about 12 hours).
I love candles that have a lot of throw, that's why I purchase them, to make my house smell warm and inviting, so I'm pretty disappointed in this scent (or lack of it!).
I won't be adding this one to my "order again" list, that's for sure. But for the price it was worth taking a chance on trying some new scents. I sure miss my local Yankee Candle store which closed after Covid. I loved being able to smell the new scents in person before purchasing.
I wish Yankee Candle would indicate in the description of every candle whether it has a subtle or strong throw - that would definitely help in my "new scent decision making".

A beautiful different type of winter/Xmas candle
I love this product. It’s tropical, but at the same time Christmasy!! Hard to explain! This one and north pole hideaway are some of the best candles I have ever smelled. I could not stop thinking about them and raided various Target locations to find more. Now I’m buying what’s left online because I hope to burn them the rest of the winter.

Great holiday scent and long lasting, packaged with care, and I am happy with the purchase. This scent can be used all year long and doesn’t have to be solely a holiday candle, however it does do the trick during the holidays to uplift and succeed at that also.
