Beautiful gift for Cardinal & Angel Lovers!
I bought these for gifts along with the 12 days of candles advent. I didn't realize the finish was a flat bisque,I thought it would be glossy. That being said,it's still a beautiful angel. I did however,use a clear nail polish over just the cardinal to give it a little shine. I also didn't realize the substantial size of the candles in the advent. They're in a beautiful little glass holder but,just a little too big for this holder which was a great surprise of course but,I thought they could be used with this. Anyway,I just included a little,battery operated votive to use with this in the gift which works too because the candles are already in a beautiful little container. Also,saved a substantial amount shopping early when they were on sale making this a beautiful and affordable gift. Bought two of each,advent & this angel. Already gifted one set & my best friend was thrilled! Thank you Yankee! Hope your holidays are blessed!

The tea lights are the only candles that fit this item. I suggest you put a couple drops of water in the candle base before you add the tea light. It prevents the base getting too hot as the candle burns down.
