How Sweet it is!!!!!
The sweet plum cake has a strong fragrance. This one I recently bought and the scent is made to last. There’s a hint of something that I can’t put my finger on, but the combination smells good enough to eat. This one is in my kitchen. I will definitely be buying this scent again. I love when new scents are available because I’m constantly burning my candles. This is fresh and new!!

No fragrance.
I’ve purchased 2 of these and burned 1. Absolutely no fragrance unless your nose is right up to the flame. Very disappointing. I will try to exchange the other one that I have.

Exactly like it’s namesake
The scent of this candle reminds me of sitting at the sushi bar, enjoying my hot Saki. Saki has a unique taste and smell unlike any other. It’s slightly sweet and slightly spicy (for lack of a better word). This candle fills my room with that exact scent. I find the throw not too strong, it fills the room where the candle is, but is very faint in other areas of the house. Another added bonus is the pleasant scent left in the room after the candle has been put out, it becomes slightly more sweet and plum forward whereas when lit, the scent is more Sake forward.
The only drawback is that I crave albacore sashimi & a rainbow roll every time I enjoy my Yankee Plum Saki candle. I would certainly get this scent again!

Awful alcohol smell
This candle smells great in the store of plum, sweet and fruity. I burned it once and the smell was overpowering of the sake. It reeked of alcohol and puke smell terrible. Totally different smell once lit. This was a waste of money.

My All Time Favorite
The Sakura Collection has many great candles, but Sweet Plum Sake is my favorite. It smells amazing and the fragrance fills not only my bedroom, but most of my house. When I heard it was for a limited time only, I had to go and get as many as I could. The burn time is also fantastic! It lasts easily twice as long as other candles that I have purchased that didn't smell nearly as good. Please bring back Sweet Plum Sake to your stores!
