Since that’s no longer available, I was hoping this would be a good replacement. It is not. I’m not sure what’s in this candle but it’s not peppermint. It kind of smells like burnt caramel or an old carnival. It’s definitely more of a baking scent than a fresh, clean peppermint scent like Candy Cane Lane, which was always fun to light up on a snowy day. I couldn’t even stand the scent of this unlit and threw it out. I’m sure there are folks that like food/baking scented candles, but I am not one of them. I think a better description would be helpful for those of us looking for something similar to Candy Cane Lane. Peppermint this is not.
