Fresh strong scent
Yes another strong scent candle before and after burn. Smells very fresh and it reminds me of an ocean. I close my eyes and imagine sitting on the beach. Love the scent so fresh and invigorating. Also has a very strong scent, which we love. It fills the medium size room very well.

Great Ocean/Fresh Scent
I exchanged my Island Spa (which I just didn't like the scent of) for this candle. Best decision ever! This one smells similar to Turquoise Sky. A little bit of a masculine scent but overall an ocean, marine, fresh scent. I could just imagine myself on the seashore when burning this one! It's strong enough to cover up any odors. Mine burned and threw very well. This one is hoard-worthy for me!

Fresh !
Although this is my second favorite scent, I like using it when my dog smells a little more doggyish than usual. Its a little heavier so its odor eliminating. Still gives me that clean scent that I like.

One of the best ocean fragrances ever.Crisp,blue,salty,fresh-my husband is also a fan of this one.Our apartment is a one bedroom,so it has great throw all over the place.This one goes a long way and is worth the dubloons.

Beautiful marine scent
This is a lovely marine scent that is salt, water, and something soft and sweet that must be the aloe. It's well balanced and reminds me of a L'Occitane candle from a long time ago that was a marine scent. My wick is perfect and generates a nice wax pool quickly with an illuma lid. Soft throw but very pretty. Definitely a great scent from Yankee.

This is my new favorite beach scent!
I have developed many favorite Yankee Candle scents for all four of the seasons and many of the holidays, but for summer--Ocean Star is my new favorite! I live in the Midwest, and am not very close to major beaches. Nevertheless, I LOVE the beach, and the scent of this candle is the closest to the real scent of the beach that I have ever found--it combines the salty air, the sand, the breeze, the seaweed and sunshine! I will be sure to keep this one on hand in my candle closet. I encourage you to do the same! Enjoy!

What a peaceful, calm, "mesmerizing " fragrance Ocean Star has! Specifically, I would describe its scent as definitely "marine-like" with pretty floral notes and what I perceive as a "hint" of powder which makes it super fresh but yet soft and comforting. This lovely scent brings to mind to me what beautiful flowers floating on clear turquoise water might smell like--which brings me to my next point of just LOVING its GORGEOUS aqua color--very aesthetic! Although Ocean Star's throw is strong, it's not at all over overwhelming but rather it will emit for you a fantastically fresh, gentle, "watery" floral fragrance--magnificent!

LOVE this candle!
I light my Yankee Candle when I get up in the am and I blow it out just before bed in the pm. I have tried a number of different fragrances. I have a few that I really like, but Ocean Star is my very favorite go to fragrance. It's fresh and clean and it makes our home smell and feel warm and inviting. We live on the beach and it absolutely smells like the beach - I LOVE it!!! I will absolutely buy it again and again and I recommend it to everyone!

Disappointed by Ocean Star
I've burned several candles this spring/summer that I've been very happy with. I started with Willow Breeze in the spring then went onto Dune Grass, Beach Walk and most recently Ocean Star. I was excited to try it for the first time. I love the color and the beautiful sticker. But unfortunately, this particular candle never threw any scent at all. I kept relighting and hoping the scent oils would finally come out. That never happened. I've burned the wax down to an inch at the bottom but I never caught the scent. Even when cold sniffing the jar. Just smells like plain wax. I would hope other Ocean Star candles would have a scent throw...mine didn't...so I don't think I could recommend it. I hate getting a dud. I purchased this at a Hallmark store and paid full price. Extra disappointing. This candle has gotten good reviews from others so I can only surmise that I received a dud. I'd like to exchange it if possible.

Awesome fresh summery scent
Ocean Star is one of my favorite candles for summer. The throw is perfect - noticeable but not overpowering. And I just love the scent - it makes me want to lie in a hammock and read a good book. The salt water notes blend with the lotus and a bit of citrus and smells fantastic. It creates a free-spirited fresh ambiance and makes me feel relaxed.

Sorry the New Stuff isn't very Good.
The new scents don't have that old time Yankee candle thing ,when you open a jar candle and take a smell that smell would hit you and you would think or say yup they got it ,all the new stuff smells the same,like candy.

There is not another candle that matches the quality of this candle.
Once you light the candle the fragrance emitted is unbelievable. I have purchased several candles from different manufacturers but nothing can compare.
