Disappointed - Not smelling at all
I had bought WoodWick in the past and I thought they were great candles. I decided to try Yankee this time as a family member had the Sparkling Cinnamon edition and I loved it.
Although the smell of "Movie night cocoa" is good, it does not impregnate the whole apartment the same way that WoodWick candles did.
I decided to give it a second chance, using the candle in a smaller room rather than in the entrance, and unfortunately the problem persisted. The house does not smell like "Movie night cocoa". Actually it does not smell at all.
Very disappointing considering the high price.

Not A Fan of This Scent
I bought this one to try. I dont think I would purchase it again. I guess I am so used to Yankee Candle Scents traveling through out my house. This one was a let down. No one in my home even knew it was lit. There was no scent to it when lit. I wouldn't buy it again

Smells like my favorite perfume, not cocoa or mint
I was hoping this would be similar to Alpine Mint. It's not, nor does it have the slightest hint of chocolate/cocoa it's not minty either. However it does smell like my favourite perfume and for that reason alone I'm in love with it. It is sweet with hints of patchouli & musk. I'd honestly expect to find this scent marketed more towards fall/halloween in a different color wax.

Not the smell I was expecting.
I think the name of this candle is not a great fit. I would think Movie Night Cocoa would smell like Cocoa, sweets, and maybe even a hint of popcorn. It was more of a perfume scent and I don't like that kind of smell. This was a gift so hopefully they liked it. The label was too cute!

Thai is one of the first Yankee Candles I have been disappointed with. The pink color was surprising at first, but most importantly, I get little to no Cocoa smell.

Great scent but what's with the name
It's strange to be writing a low review for this candle. The scent is absolutely gorgeous and smells like you're walking through a field of flowers in the spring. The thing is...it's not cocoa. It's not peppermint. I know the scent notes are here and that it's on me for expecting something different, but I just really don't get how this is Movie Night Cocoa in any way shape or form. Once again, beautiful scent. It was just the complete opposite of what I was going for.

Smell and burn quality
The smell is amazing but for some reason the one I got burns a little strange! This one won’t burn to the edges no matter how long you let it burn. The scent isn’t as strong as some of the other candles so it’s nice for someone who wants something subtle.

Good for cold winter snow days and snuggling
It's a good candle to have burning when it is snowing out, you are sipping hot chocolate, snuggling in a fluffy blanket, there is a fire going in the fireplace and you are watching a good movie.

A delicious identity crisis!
I have burned this a few times and I LOVE IT. This is a fragrance I could become obsessed with. Is it cocoa? Heck no. It is a subtle woodsy floral warmed up with vanilla, with a cool draft of peppermint coasting through. Throw is maybe 4/10 IMO, But I get little whiffs of it as I wander through my evening.
If you want chocolate, try another. But if the notes intrigue, try it!

New Favorite!
From the moment I picked up in the store, I have absolutely LOVED this scent. It's a subtle sweet that isn't as overwhelming as other sweet scents I've tried from Yankee. Smells wonderful. Love it so much I bought it in a large jar AND a wax melt for my warmer. Definitely my favorite of the year!

Powdery florals mostly. You get a slight hint of mint but it's more mint growing in an herb garden rather than candied peppermint. I feel like I get a decent amount of geranium and a little rose in it.
