A light but great scent
This one has a faint smell while it burns. However, if you leave the room and come back the fragrance is rich. I enjoy that it isn’t overwhelming. It has a great blend of fragrance with a soft sweet smell.

I would have expected more of a cocoa or chocolately fragrance from a candle called Movie Night Cocoa, but I didn't pick up any. I couldn't put my finger on the exact scent. It was very faintly and very vaguely sweet and oddly smelled a bit like butter popcorn. Even in a small room, the throw was weak. This isn't one I'd recommend or purchase again.

Extremely disappointed
Bought several of these when they went on sell tried to get them locally but was disappointed to find out my local store had permanently closed. Instead I ordered online and am extremely disappointed. This candle has zero throw. Smells very slightly like cleaner when not lit but, when lit has zero throw burned for hours and can't smell it at all. These candles are way too expensive too have no smell. Extremely disappointed and hoping I'm able to get a full refund.

Worth a try of you like cocoa scent
I bought this on semi annual sale last year and burn it for more than 5 times. It smells good on cold, sweet cocoa with hints of mint and wood. After it has been burn a few times, it is very weak. Maybe good for a small room or a bathroom. I won't repurchase. I'd better look for a cocoa scent in other brands.

A cozy scent with a hint of a fragrant perfume.
It reminds of when I was a teen being on a date, at the movies, eating popcorn and raisinetts with a small squirt of a vanilla perfume I use to wear.

Smells like chemicals
Not even CLOSE to a hot chocolate smell. It smells like nothing nearly. And when you do get a hint of the smell it smells like a chemical plastic. Not good at all! :( Bought a few, regret it.

Don't get this one. Please read
I smelled it in store ( obviously I put my nose super close to get the full scent of the candle bc there are so many other smells in the store) it smelled good enough for me to try out. I lit it at home and literally couldn't smell anything other than the ton of the black smoke that came off of the wick (which is absolutely disgusting btw) I did cut the wick so it wasn't like there was a ton of wick to burn before it got to the wax)). I asked several other people in my family if they could smell anything and they also agreed that there is no smell to the candle. Literally no smell. Once I blew the candle out and it cooled I smelled the candle I Literally put my nose on the wax and nothing not even a hint of a smell, not that it didn't smell like hot coco it just smelled like nothing. It now has been used so unfortunately I can't return this expensive jar of nothing. I wish I could exchange it or just get a refund. So obviously I don't suggest purchasing this one, unless I happened to get a batch with no scent and a wick that pours out black smoke ( I'm talking a lot, not just the tiny bit that may come off occasionally when initially lightning the candle or a bit here and there.) Anyway hope you find something way better than this.

Big Disappointment!!!
Very disappointed in this candle. I initially bought it in a votive. Kept it by my chair and smelled it cold when I needed a lift. It smelled divine. Upon burning, it had very little throw. Thought maybe I needed a bigger one so purchased a large jar candle. What a waste of money. It is not burning correctly, leaving wax all around the edges about 1/2 inch on one side and there is absolutely NO throw. You can only smell it if you put your nose directly over it. I'm going to try it on a warmer when the wick burns out but not holding much hope. So sad.

Powdery florals mostly. You get a slight hint of mint but it's more mint growing in an herb garden rather than candied peppermint. I feel like I get a decent amount of geranium and a little rose in it.
