Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weak throw I tried Merry Berry in a votive, so I can’t speak for its performance in a larger candle, but in votive form, the scent had very little throw. I had to be inches from the burning candle to pick up the scent, which reminded me of a butter cookie with a hint of tart berry. The scent itself might have been okay if it had been stronger. Given the weak throw, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this one again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Scent of Berries This is my second most favorite Yankee Candle. My first is Christmas Cookie because it reminds me of all the Christmas cookies I have baked in my life. Merry Berry has a sweet berry scent, but not overpowering. It’s the kind of candle that you have to burn not just sniff. I think the scent seems stronger if you don’t burn it. It’s a year round candle, in my estimation. I enjoy lighting it in the early evening just to relax! Those of you with little ones, might have to wait until they’re all snug in their beds! It might help them to relax also, but remember to keep all marches and lighters in a safe spot where the kids can’t get them. Yes, I know no such place exists. Try a locked drawer.

It is a great Seasonal and all-the-time fragrance. I didn’t like the Merry Berry candle but kept it because I didn’t want to have to send it back. I only got it because the RB&C was not available except on Amazon for a cost of $39.
