Pooled perfectly, it has a rich deep berry / maroon colored wax that looks so lovely with the keyhole art. I love the art so much!! This is quickly going to become one of my favorite candles from Yankee. The berry notes on top very quickly give way to that wonderful black rose and black oud, and then settle down with the velvet and musk. Feels like I am sitting in that room with the cauldron on the keyhole picture. Love!!

I match my candle scent to the video I have on :) This Autumn scent goes fabulous with my dark academic, witchy, spooky Autumn videos - a dark rainy castle with a burst of roses in the foreground, haha. But it's a nice scent on it's own; I might burn this one year-round, whereas Witches Brew and Haunted Mansion is for October only.
