Well made spooky scarecrow cylinder
This lovely (and heavy) glass cylinder holds candles so that when lit there is a spooky warm glow from within. The colors on the scarecrow glass cylinder are black, blues, and oranges. The scarecrow himself isn't a cute one but has a scary face. He is in a graveyard with zombie profiles in the lower background. JOL faces surround the base. When lit, the candle flickers from within give a really nice touch to the room and Halloween ambience. I'm so glad my friend showed these glass cylinders to me and they were on sale! This cylinder is well made of heavy glass and not thin or cheaply made. The colors and image are easy to see. The scarecrow is an image you don't see as much anymore and the zombie graveyard is a clever touch.

Beautiful spooky ambience.
Larger than expected. Feels like it might be extremely fragile but it’s sturdy. Casts a beautiful orange glow when a candle is alight. Spooky shadowy images contribute to a sense of autumn nights.

Trick or Treat Scarecrow
Oh my gosh I just love these Halloween Yankee jar holders! I am a big halloween fan and I love spooky stuff so these holders are always a win for me! I love the luminance it gives when I put a candle inside. The glow is just beautiful! The quality is great too. The only thing that is, I wish it was a little bigger. It definitely fits the jars, but there isn't much room to spare. But overall great product.

One of the best Halloween hurricanes!
I think this Scarecrow holder is the cutest of the whole collection! So cute that I bought two more for friends and family. It's big and it illuminates very nicely, the colors and artwork are excellent, and helps me remember happy childhood Halloween thoughts! I was also very surprised to see that it was in stock (still is too!) so that I could afford it without paying resalers prices.

Poor Website Ordering
I am only rating because of the web site service. Two years in a row the same thing happened, when I tried to order these when they were on sale, my order kept getting rejected over and over again. I called support and by the time they fixed the issue, they had run out of the items I truly wanted. So for the second year in a row, I missed out. I'm sure I can go on Ebay where all the greedy people probably bought as many as they could and are selling them for double the price. But this is the second year in a row their website failed and I couldn't get the Halloween jar holders I liked so much, so I will never be ordering Yankee Candle items again. I'll go to GooseCreek or some other candle company.

Best one of the Trick or Treat series this year!
I have a candle holder for the Trick or Treat series from last year, and it has been my favorite Halloween decoration of all of my MANY! It just illuminated so beautifully and gave off a wonderfully spooky vibe. So this year, I bought all 3 of the hurricane candle holders from the Trick or Treat line. Seeing them online, I thought the scarecrow might be the least impressive in person, but it, in fact, is my favorite! All of the images illuminate so spookily, and the spookiest part was something I didn’t even notice in the online pictures. The background (along the bottom) is and outline of crosses and tombstones with creepy zombie creatures! This collection is genius and different than anything the other companies are doing-way to go, Yankee Candle!

Great Halloween Piece
This is a quality piece and a really nice hurricane for Halloween. I am not sure what a previous review is referring to about a cheap looking “outline” on the images. There is a very thin clear border around some of the darker images for the light to shine through when a candle is lit, to give it a more dimensional effect, but this isn’t a negative. Overall this is a really great piece.

Disappointed
I bought a similar silhouette candle shade a few years ago and love it- it looks hand-painted (even though I know it's not). This hurricane, on the other hand, has a weird outline around the scarecrow and other black parts that makes it look cheap and sloppy. The outline is visible in the online photos if you zoom in, so I clearly should have done that. It doesn't look like the other designs have this problem but I only ordered this one so I can't say for sure.
