Went back for another!
I know some customers aren’t happy with the way this illuminates, but I love it. It looks exactly like the second picture when you light it - what you see is what you get. I ordered one for my mom and liked this so much I went back and got one for myself. It feels substantial and so well made. Will definitely last year after year. I think the feedback is good but I also like it as is. Highly recommend.

Can't see the Witch at all
I have tried all different sizes of candles in this holder but the witch does not show up. I even put white lights in it and she still does not show up. This is the 1st time I have not been happy with a candle holder from Yankee. The trees look nice with all different sized candle but the witch is a huge disappointment.

Love my Flying Witch
This Flying Witch is a wonderful Halloween addition to the season. Love the witch and the glow of the trees too. Works well with my large candle and does real well with a battery operated candle too as it is a little brighter. A must for Halloween!

I gave this 4 stars due to the fact that you can only see the trees and bats when the candle is lit. If there was a way to have the witch light up as well, then would have been 5 stars. Still a nice piece!

As everyone else has said you cannot see any of the black characters or details because of that metallic coating inside. That being said, I took a scratchy kitchen sponge and began scrubbing away at the metallic coating inside and now I can see the witch and the graveyard below her but I will lose the trees. It's a work in progress and I plan on switching to steel wool....still, it's better to see the rest of the details and not just the trees. They should recall these and remove that coating for us and then these would be at least 4 stars. Can't believe they sent these out this way....

Great colors
I think this is a pretty holder. The colors are deep and the witches are sharp. The only reason it isn’t a 5 is because the witch silhouette doesn’t glow but the trees do.

Very Disappointing
Not the usual Yankee quality. Quality control should have put a candle in this one before releasing it. The trees are pretty but the witch is a blob. Its smaller then the other two hurricanes too.

Boring! Especially after last years…
I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED this year! So I’ve seen a Halloween jar candle holder with bats and a moon on it saying it’s the new 2023 back in June from 3rd party sellers. So I was anticipating its release for it to NOT COME OUT and instead this one and two others that are OLD ONES FROM 3-4 years ago! HOW LAME!!! At lest Yankee could have re-released the one they came out with last year if they were going to Re-release any of them. Since it was only out for less than 2 days and sold out and I and many others didn’t get one. Cause I thought it would be there for all of Halloween just like most of there items are. Since there was No info stating that it was a Limited addition jar in the description if it was, I wouldn’t have waited to order it I would’ve ordered it the first night released when I saw it but I waited because I had no idea. So AGAIN it’s SO DISAPPOINTING that they didn’t release they new 2023 ONLINE which is NOT FAIR, SINCE I CANT GET TO A STORE CAUSE THEY ALL CLOSED DOWN IN A 100 miles from me. And the ones they did were old ones and this one is BORING AND JUST NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Disappointing.
I bought this holder along with the 2 other Halloween ones. You can't see anything except the trees. The witchmis a black blob. Not your normal Yankee quality. Very disappointed!

I bought this during the Halloween opening weekend and I am super disappointed in it's appearance with a candle. It is very dark and you only see the trees basically light up and don't see the witch or anything else. I got it thinking it would illuminate more boldly but sadly it didn't. Hard to choke down that I paid 26.00 for it.

Flying Witches hurricane Ombré colors are pretty, but had to give it 4 Stars because it is a little dark, and witch flying is hard to see I put a led candle inside the trees , and bats light up so spooky but witch doesn’t still a pretty hurricane smaller than the others .

Great design overall, but witch design hard to see
The design is beautiful, and I love that it is a flicker luminary. However, it is a very dark design, and the witch and the details on the outside of the candle holder do not show up well in a lot of the lighting. You can see the witch and bottom details at certain angles--depending on the angle of your lighting, but just looking down at it, they are just dark and indistinct, especially when you turn off the room light so you can enjoy the flickering trees to full effect. It is also over an inch shorter than my other Halloween Yankee candle holders, so that the jar candle with a topper on it is visible as you look at the holder. To be clear, the jar and topper are not taller than the jar, but since I am looking down at it, the jar is just below the rim of the holder.
It is a wonderful, spooky design, but the witch and bottom details should have been more translucent black so that the candle light better backlit it, rather than the opaque matt black.

Just OK
The trees illuminate very well and at night it is all that is shown when lit with a few tiny bats. I would have liked it more if the witch flying and Jack o Lantern illuminated as well.
