I appreciate illumalid options that aren’t the super shiny (fake-looking) metallic plating. While I was hoping this one was silver or pewter colored as item image appears, it was actually more of a bronze/patina. It can look gold/bronze/silver depending on the lighting which is reason for one star deduction.
Definitely adds touch of fall with tasteful, subtle realism. Metal has decent weight to it with lovely detailing—not too busy nor too plain/basic. Found it to be priced fairly, but was able to purchase on sale making it a great value!

Even burn
I love these. They are great to help guard against open flames. Of course never leave a candle unattended, but it feels a little safer with having a cat in the house also. I wish they would make some of these for the newer styles also. I have not ordered some candles because this would not fit it. Your candles burn so much more evenly as well.

It arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. I would have liked it to be shipped in a box instead of just attached to a card and placed in a plastic bag. It looks like the picture on the website. Have not used it yet. Waiting for autumn. I'm sure it will work well.

I wish these fit all candles.
I love these candle toppers for their looks. I have various ones for each season and just bought this one for autumn 2021. I was very disappointed to see that they don't fit on the new Signature sized candles with two wicks. I admit that I did not read where they specified they fit on the jar candles (so that is on me). Hopefully they won't get rid of the jar candles completely for the "improved" kind (even though I like the two wick version more) or that they modify the container for the signature candles so that the accessories that we have spent money on over the years will continue to be functional. Only docking value because it doesn't fit on all of their large candles.

One Size Does Not Fit All
I adore this candle topper! I love the way it protects the candle flame from going out and I enjoy the shadows it casts on my ceiling. However, this only works on the traditional jars. It will fall straight through the two-wick newer-style candles and extinguish the flame... If you don't break the glass trying to get it out.

The top is a really nice brass/gold it has good weight to it also. &nbsp;These tops are great. Well worth the money. &nbsp;There was no way to post a photo of it. Highly recommend.&nbsp;
