Very Apple
This is exactly what you would expect. It is VERY apple and slightly sweet but not overly. I do prefer some cinnamon in my cider so this is not my favorite, but it has a lovely apple throw. It reminds me a bit of my childhood apple dumpling dolls.

Smells like an orchard on a sunny fall day
I bought this one year ago and went back to the store to stock up! Thank goodness as all the Yankee candle stores have closed. It's now one of my favorites. I only burn scented candles in the fall/ Christmas.

One of the closest scents I have ever come across. The warm smell of notes of cinnamon and nutmeg make me remember making cider with

I buy Honeycrisp Apple every fall because it smells like Fall. I light these candles in whatever room I am in to enjoy the scent and ambience of this candle. My favorite scent of all candles. Throws smell very well.

WARNING: CANDLES NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE!
I've been buying Yankee candles for somewhere between 20 and 30 years. One medium or large jar used to fill an entire large, open room with their lovely scents. I'm not sure what has happened, but since 2019/2020 they are completely awful and no longer have strong scents. You notice a slight difference when opening a jar for the first time... you're not hit with that same powerful waft of fragrance that has always been the Yankee trademark... the scent it a bit diluted, but still somewhat present. Upon lighting the candles, however, you will be severely disappointed to find that they no longer emit the room-filling aromas that they once did. You basically have to get on top of the candle to detect the smell that's coming from the melted wax and it most certainly does not fill a room any longer. This new fault is not exclusive to Honeycrisp Apple Cider, mind you, and is unfortunately the case with every fragrance that I have purchased in the last 1 to 2 years. I have read other reviews complaining of the same fallacy and after spending $845.51 since 2019 I feel the need to put out my own PSA as well. Let me be perfectly clear, I absolutely LOVE Yankee Candles. I will probably continue to purchase Yankee candles despite this distressing fragrance issue. I must be honest though, if something is not done by the company to fix the ratio of fragrance in their candles that has clearly changed, I will most-likely be making the bulk of my candle purchases from Bath and Body Works instead. It breaks my heart and I hope that this review gets escalated to the appropriate departments so that it can be taken into serious consideration.

Candle weather…finally!
By the time late September rolls around in Arizona I’m ready for temperatures in the double digits! This lovely scent of delicious Honeycrisp apples and cinnamon with a hint of vanilla reminds me fall is finally here and it’s time to break out the Yankee Candles.

Spring apples versus Mulled cider.
Very clean scent. Not as spicy as I was thinking. I might save this one to burn in the spring because the scent is more crisp and clean rather than the mulled spices I tend to like in the fall.

Very apple not as strong as Macintosh
This smells VERY apple with no other scents (no vanilla or spices). It is not as strong as Macintosh so if you are looking for a bigger apple throw, then go with Macintosh. If you want a cozy/warm "fall" scent with a blend, then go with Apple Pumpkin which smells like something is baking in the overn and has a STRONG throw. If you want a "sweeter" spiced candle, then go with Sugar & Spice.

If you mean the Honeycrisp apple cider (yellow candle), I haven't found anything that is like this scent! They used to have one that was just plain apple cider which was a red candle. If that's the one you're talking about sugared cinnamon apple is something you might want to try!
