I bought this last season because it was the only Halloween scent left. I regret buying 3 of the large jars because I am not fond of the scent. It's not horrible, but It was not what I was expecting.

I bought haunted hayride 2 years ago and I absolutely loved it. I hadn't seen it return on the past 2 years and was bummed bc it smells of a Halloween night. When I saw that it was back I scooped it up. It smells of a campfire and light musk. I love it.

I thought this was a perfectly lovely candle. Great for the Halloween season. I purchased one of each of the Halloween candles and they are all exceptional per usual. Highly Conceptual Eerie Evergreen
Haunted Hayride is a dark, almost morbidly humorous take on fresh evergreen. I first bought this during its 2019 release and it has become a tradition because this scent is the perfect backdrop fragrance for "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Haunted Hayride is exactly what I imagine "Christmas" smells like when it's taken over by Jack and the ghoulish denizens of Halloweentown. My overall scent impression is: Sharply Fresh, Dark, Bizarre, Charcoal, Evergreen, Woody and Fruity. I would say this is the exact OPPOSITE of warm and cozy, but it's not a cologne scent either. It's truly unique. As this scent is highly conceptual, think twice about buying it unsniffed, unless you are an enthusiast for oddball (but absolutely beautiful) niche scents. The dark wax color does cause slower-than-normal pooling, so prepare to use an Illuma-Lid to get this bad girl going. Throw is 6/10 in a large room, perfect for a midnight movie with a bowl of popcorn and a sing-along with Jack and Sally. Thank you YC for making this fabulous scent!

Forest Fog
This is my favorite Halloween candle for sure! I’m not a fan of patchouli at all but all the notes in this candle is so well balanced. There is a dark freshness to it, and it could easily be named forest fog because that’s what it is: misty fog in the woods.
