I purchased this only because it was one of the few scents available by the time I took advantage of a sale. I ordered only one along with another scent I’m familiar with. Love, Love, Love!
I bought the Garden Sweet Pea Large Candle because when I was young I loved the Sweet Pea scent from Bath and Body Works. I love this scent from Yankee Candle, they took a cherished memory and improved it. I have not started burning it yet, I am currently burning Fresh Cut Roses in my bedroom, but I still reach into my candle closet each day to get a good whiff of this wonderful candle scent. My list of favorites from Yankee Candle keeps growing, I am going to need another candle closet. Thank you Yankee Candle!!!

Great for flower collection
I'm a fan of flower candles and Yankee has a wide variety of Rose fragrances so I am always eager to try other flower smells, sweet pea does not disappoint. While I admit, I actually don't know what a sweet pea smells like as I've never seen one before I can tell you that this is strong throwing candle that is delightful and sweet without being cloying.
It's pungent like "Lilac Blossoms" and "White Gardenia" and it a refreshing change from all the Rose candles yankee has. I wish I could describe it better but it certainly would fit into any spring or summer collection. Bright, bold, and vibrant scent. It will energize you!
I will buy again and very much recommend to others.

I actually gave this candle as a gift to someone I work with, & had to hear coworkers about how there is very little scent. And I have to agree with them, after burning some other large jar candles that I ordered at the same time. The quality has really diminished!
This candle (along with some I ordered for myself) does not burn evenly either. There is alot of wasted wax. Again, Yankee candles I ordered in the past did not have this problem, but all 15-16 I ordered this time burnt unevenly.
I believe cheaper candles from retail stores would have been a better deal! Not sure that I will risk wasting so much money on them again.

Fabulous scent!
I think this may be my new favorite! Love bringing the pop of this gorgeous blue into my home, but it smells out of this world, but subtle and not overwhelming at all! I would highly recommend this as a gift for yourself or someone else.

Scent fades very quickly, candle burns unevenly
The scent is hardly noticeable in either of these candles now
And the candles are lit for 8 hours or more a day and the wicks have burnt down straight like a core, not melting the whole candle
We've had the same problem with other large jar candles from Yankee

Very little scent

100% Spring Floral Favorite
I got this last year when friends visited a YC store with my wish list (after I tried the tart & votive) and just lighted it. The fragrance is exactly like a bouquet of sweet pea and freesia flowers fresh picked from the garden. The throw is good, even for a fairly large space, and leaves a nice floral linger in the air. Definitely a Spring favorite
