NO LIDS
I purchased this set after reading the question below asking if the candles had lids. A Yankee representative answered the question assuring us that these candles do in fact come with lids. Well, I just received them and I can tell you this is FALSE. The candles do NOT come with lids. And because they are old stock that have been sitting around without lids they also have NO SCENT. If I'd known they had no lids I would not have purchased them. This is why people ask questions before they purchase. There is no store near me so I can't return them. I am stuck with 2 unscented candles with NO LIDS.

I purchased two boxes of these candles and was pleasantly surprised by how large they are. One box seems to have been previously opened, so I decided to use those first. I am going to save the fir candles for the holiday season. The teak candles smell incredible. It is the perfect fragrance for the post holiday winter weeks. It is smoky and woody without being overwhelming. It makes the room smell and feel warm in the best way. My only issue is the one that came out of the already opened box. It had a wonky burn - tunneling and burning unevenly. It had lots of wax left on the sides of the jar and burned about ten or twelve hours less than the one from the pristine box, which seemed to burn forever.

Great deal and scent combination
I love this combination of scents and at a great price the only problem with the gift sets is they do not come with lids wich are important to keep the dust out of the candels and put them out without alot of smoke

This is a combination of two middle size hour glass candles, one green and one white. It goes well with year end decors - and its usually a good deal. I always but one or two towards the end of the year. Note that the usual wooden lids that come with all Woodwick hour glass candles is not included in this set. Not a problem because you really don't need these lids.
