No scent
I purchased 3 of the large Jar Candles and none of them had any scent to them. I love the FIRESIDE scent and was excited to put them at such a good price, but when I received them there was barely any scent when a took the top off the jar! I burned one hoping it would have stronger scent once lit but it didn’t. I spoke with customer service and I had to end up returning them. I’m still waiting on my refund

Fireside? Not really.
This scent does not remotely resemble the smokey/woodsy scent I was expecting it to have based on the label. It was quite disappointing in that regard. To me, it smells like church incense with a touch of a manly cologne. It is not an unpleasant scent, just not what I was expecting. The throw is about 7 out of 10 in a fairly large room. It definitely has nothing to do with a "Fireside" though so I don't know how anyone came up with that name. I wish I hadn't bought two.

One of my all time favorite Yankee candles. Haven't been able to get it for a long time and was very excited to see it available. I ordered multiple.

My favorite fireplace fragrance!
I was so excited to see this beloved fragrance show up on the website! I'd seen jars of it on social media, but was never able to actually get my hands on one. That was frustrating because I first fell in love with this candle many years ago, & really missed it! Wonderful, authentic, pleasantly smoky fireplace scent! I haven't found better - even in vendor wax. And that gorgeous label tops it off perfectly! Ordered three, & hope to pick up more while it's still around.

My forever favorite…
This Fireside scent is by far my all-time favorite for any time of year or season. It brings memories of summer evening beach bonfires or the warmth of cozy winter evenings by the fireplace both surrounded by friends and family. If I could only have one candle scent, this would be it! Thank you Yankee Candle/Woodwick for keeping it!

Fireside is authentic, woody, smoky and wonderful
So happy that Fireside has returned for sale as it's been a few years I think, and this is one of the most authentic, rustic, bonfire scents! So unique with a warm, smoky, sultry character like smoked, charred beach wood but it's got a crisp, fresh edge like salty ocean air. Strong fragrance as well when burning, a very deep, smoky gray colored wax and the large photo label of the beach bonfire is perfect and gorgeous. I think this would pair well with Autumn Lodge which is mainly sweet tobacco and cedarwood, for a real rustic, cabin with a fireplace atmosphere!
