Not my idea of a Channukah aroma but pleasant
I ordered this candle online, without knowing its fragrance. I love that it is specific to Channukah -- so few things are -- but it smells very strongly of clove. It's not unpleasant - though a bit strong -- but I'm not sure how clove is a Channukah aroma. Me? My Channukah is all about fried doughnuts and chocolate coins. I would have thought that a candle a bit more on the side of powdered jelly doughnut or chocolate would have been more appropriate. Never the less, I am grateful to have a gift of light to give during Channukah - that is appropriate indeed!

Greatest scent that we have found.
Let me tell you that this candle has been in my home since the first day it was on the market. We love it year round, as it is a very clean scent. I was sad when it was retired and I had to really hunt for it and when I could find it ,I bought enough to last a year. We are so happy that you returned it back for this holiday. I'm not Jewish, so maybe next year can you put a different label on it, if not , it's okay. Thank you for bringing it back.

Chanukah memories

A traditional holiday candle
I buy so many Yankee candles that I make it a habit not to buy the same candle twice... except for this candle! The dominating scent is cinnamon, but it doesn't smell like a Fall candle. It is a wonderful holiday scent that would easily fill a room in about a hour. I definitely understand why this was a "throwback" candle. I would recommend this candle for a gift as well. I definite must for any holiday candle collection!
