Light floral scent
Desert Blooms has a subtle light floral scent with a very light throw. It is a pleasant scent, but in my opinion I prefer a STRONG throw. Otherwise the candle smells great. I will burn this candle with Blushing Bouquet.

It seemed to take a day or two for the scent to kick in. it was really light at first, but by day 3 really seemed to kick in. It had a sweet aroma unlike anything i've experienced yet. really light for long stretches then a distinct stronger and pleasant fruity smell out of nowhere which I enjoyed. A definite strong contrast but enjoyable.

Barely noticeable scent with zero throw
I really wanted to like this candle based on the woody notes, but all I smelled was a very faint rose scent. I burned two three-wick candles simultaneously in my small closed bathroom and after 3 hours I could barely smell it. Even if the candle had smelled stronger the scent was just a ho-hum, nothing special weak floral scent. It really had the potential to be something special, but that would have required Yankee to use an ample amount of fragrance oils, which is something they don’t do anymore. This spring 2024 collection has been another let down from Yankee because of their scrimping on fragrance oils. Their new Aloe & Agave and Canyon Pine Trail candles have the exact same problem - no scent. A complete waste of $30.00.

sorry i did not try that one but I feel that Desert Bloom is a flowery scent as opposed to the &quot;woodsy&quot; scent they advertise
