Original has more balsam scent to it with a vanilla cookie after smell. The new one doesn&#39;t appear to have any balsam. Its all vanilla cookie. I get the bakery scent-for sure-while an &amp;ldquo;underscent&amp;rdquo; of wintery berry smells. The first batch leaned much more on the berry side, while the winter 2020 had a bakery scent, instead, with a tiny bit of berry undertone.&amp;nbsp;I hope this answers your question without over complicating it. One being BBW. It&amp;rsquo;s been around 2 years for them. It&amp;rsquo;s very irritating to buy them, only to burn them, no throw or sooty wax, have to return! They should honor their sales pitches &amp;ldquo;America&amp;rsquo;s Favorite Candle&amp;rdquo; etc etc. Throw some more scent( or turn up the dial on the machine that dispenses!) in the wax!! Would 5-6 more drops of say Vanilla&amp;hellip;make your companies go bankrupt??!! Stop worrying so much about what the jar itself looks like! We candle fanatics want the SCENT!! Keep an eye on your burning candle. &amp;nbsp;Keep all debris away from inside the candle. &amp;nbsp;The wick should be trimmed to 1/8&amp;rdquo;. This will ensure a clean burn. &amp;nbsp;If the wick is too close to the jar glass&amp;nbsp;it will smoke and burn black. &amp;nbsp;This will cause soot and oil stain on your walls and ceilings. This year&amp;rsquo;s attempt is an improvement from last year&amp;rsquo;s edition, but it&amp;rsquo;s still not quite right. Overall the scent is very faint-it used to be much stronger, but in a pleasant way.
