When I light this candle, it's like a portal opens directly to a crisp autumn day in a sun-drenched apple orchard. You know that feeling when you first step out of the car, and the air is just filled with the sweet, slightly tart aroma of ripe apples, maybe with a hint of earthy wood from the crates or trees? That's exactly what this candle delivers. It's not overly sweet or artificial, which is a common pitfall for apple scents. Instead, it's a wonderfully authentic, fresh-picked apple smell. There's a subtle undertone of something a little warmer – Yankee describes it as "wooden barrels and a touch of spice," and I think that's spot on. It's not cinnamon-heavy, which is good, as I prefer a pure apple first and foremost. It's more of a nuanced warmth that grounds the apple scent and makes it feel truly autumnal and inviting.
