Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smells great- burns really strangely. Candle smells great. Not the strongest throw, but pretty good, and it puts out a really lovely kind of brown sugar/spice scent. Very cozy, and Autumnal. The only problem is, the candle burns really oddly. About an hour after lighting it, I noticed the candle was burning in a strange way. The wicks were really short, and they were sitting in a big oval pool of melted wax right in the center of the candle. The wicks were barely staying lit above the puddle of melted wax. They looked like they would go out any minute. I blew out the candle, poured out the melted wax inside of the oval puddle in the middle of the top of the candle, and then the wicks looked weirdly long. I waited a day, just to leave the candle alone. Then I trimmed the wicks, and tried to burn the candle again. The same thing happened. For whatever reason, this candle will not burn like a normal Yankee Candle. The wicks get so short while they are lit, and they are “drowned” by the puddle of melted wax that happens when the candle is lit. This candle keeps putting itself out, and only a portion in the center of it is burning, so a lot of the wax is being wasted now. I’m bummed, because I love how the candle smells. :/ I am not burning the candle on a tilted or unstable surface, nor has there been a fan blowing on the candle, or anything else that might make it act weird. I don’t know the cause of why it’s burning the way it is. So- whatever is causing this weird burn pattern has rendered this candle useless. I’m afraid to burn it any more. (Maybe this is why this candle was so marked down?). So- while it smells really yummy, and it has a great, marked-down price, I would definitely pass on this one.
