My favorite winter season candle
I load up on balsam & cedar at the end of fall & begin burning them on December 1 til February 1. This scent reminds me of walking through a pine forest & smells incredible. At times I will burn a Cinnamon scent along with Balsam. Anyone who comes to our home always comments on how nice it smells, & several friends are now lovers on this scent as well

Perfect pine
I feel like this is the go to pine scent offered by YC and I can see why. In the past I haven’t been a fan of the “Christmas tree” scents. They always reminded me of cleaning products and were very harsh smelling but this year for some reason I tried a bunch of minis and votives and I’ve been enjoying them. This is a very natural pine scent, very outdoorsy and fresh. It reminds me of having a fresh cut Christmas tree as a kid, which is a nice touch of nostalgia since I use an artificial one. Throw is 7/10 for the mini, which is pretty good for such a small candle. I will definitely buy the larger size.

Very faint fragrance
I have used balsam and cedar candles for years! They are the only candle I burn during the holidays because of their strong "Christmas" scent. I didn't mind spending the money for quality candles. However, I was completely disappointed with the candles this year. It seems they have cut down on the amount of oils in the candles. The fragrance is very faint. I even burned 3 candles in one room and could barely smell them. I will be looking to other brands next year. So disappointing.

Searching for the fragrance
I just received my order for 3 of these small candles last week. Due to some responses on othere reviews about the scent/fragrance being so faint, or not like years ago where they were very strong. Upon lighting all 3 candles it was a disappointment as there was just a faint scent of fragrance. Wondering if Yankee candles weakened the amount of scent put into each candle. Definitely not like 10+ years ago where the scent was worth the experience. Sadly disappointed and won't be ordering the bigger sized versions.

My favorite scent ever!!
Christmas means the lovely scents of evergreens and the Balsam and Cedar scent does just that for me. I close my eyes when I light my candles and breathe deeply of the crisp and clean pine scent filling my room. I just love it!! Add some Christmas music and I am content!! You pay more because the minis are in glass so you are paying for the candle and the glass votives are cheaper because they aren&rsquo;t in glass.
