When I asked why, the response was&amp;rdquo;it&amp;rsquo;s above my pay grade to answer&amp;rdquo;! &amp;nbsp;I used to buy them by the case, then I could light a couple a night and let them burn. Aside from the price, I hate the large candles as you have to keep trimming the wick and washing the inside of the glass to get rid of soot. Big mess. I&amp;rsquo;m sure their profit margin wasn&amp;rsquo;t big enough and the share holders weren&amp;rsquo;t taking home as many million as they think they should be. On top of it people have spent all kind of money buying &amp;ldquo;special&amp;rdquo; containers to hold the votive and tealights. I will never but another yankee again. I&amp;rsquo;ll find a nice small mom and pop place.
