Not as good as the last one I ordered
Have ordered Mountain Lodge before and like the sent. I ordered three of the same this time and the scent was very weak in two of the three candles (have not burned the third). Even the color of the wax was lighter this time. I am not happy with the quality this time.

Geat scent on the masculine side. Not so great dispersion.
I love this scent. It is my favorite by far. I find it calming and earthy. It's not flowery; though it is just a little sweet. I am a man and I think this probably does come down on the masculine side of Yankee Candle's offerings.
I am disappointed in the tumbler's delivery of the scent. It seems to just hover around the candle without defusing into the room very well. Maybe it is the soy formulation, as I saw suggested in another review. Or maybe there was not quite enough scent in the two large tumblers I bought. I can sit with it unlit under my nose and enjoy that for a long time - But that's not quite the intended use. It won't stop me from ordering this scent again. But I might try the jar next time in hopes that it will fill the room better.

Terrible scent - made my nauseous.
I bought this one from online and not being able to smell it I checked out the reviews and the description and it was what I was looking for. But when I received it I was so dissatisfied with the scent. I tried to smell it over and over randomly to see if I developed a liking for it but it actually made me nauseous it was so strong. Exchanged in store for a scent I enjoyed.

Warm and inviting
This scent candle is warm and inviting just like a lodge on a cold winter's evening. I love this scent as it is not perfumy but mildly scented. It makes you want to just breathe it in! I have discovered that I like the large jar candles over the tumbler candles though. The large jar seems to burn longer and be of more value.

My new favorite scent
Love this smell........... like being outdoors in the fall. And you can set the candles on a warmer rather than lighting them and they last even longer and keep their shape.

Not what I expected
This is a nice size and the overall is nice, however, I was expecting great fragrance from this of wood, pine, cedar lodge vacation etc but was so disappointed! It has hardly any smell at all even after being burned for a couple of hours. The smell is good but you have to stick your nose right in the jar. I feel like I wasted my money on this one! This is the first time I have bought Yankee Candles and I spent almost a 100.00. I sure hope the other ones smell better and stronger.

The woods in every season.
This is easily one of YC best fragrances. The scent is not so decidedly obvious that it only works with certain decors or during certain seasons; it is by far one of the most versatile scents I have ever used. We have burned it sporadically throughout the year, and no matter the month or holiday, it fits perfectly.
The main scent is as deep and warm as a fireplace, with undertones of something sweet and fresh like the scent of crabapple blooms blowing in off a lake breeze. It also has a little bit stronger throw than some other candles, which is perfect if you are looking to create a base scent for your home. It is and forever shall be a staple scent in my household.

Absolutely love the "manly" scent
I bought this as a gift for my son who absolutely loves the scent. Very pleased with this fragrance and Yankee Candles overall.
