Enjoy softer scent
I really enjoy the softness of the scent. Some scents become so overpowering that after an hour of burning I have to snuff it. It is a clean, homey scent not flowery or perfumy, one of the few my husband also really enjoys when I burn.

GREAT scent. Zero throw. Too bad.
I love this scent. It is by far my favorite. Unfortunately, even after burning for 4-5 hours, there is very little throw. This seems to be a pattern for some of the more masculine scents - Beach Wood for example. I expect better from YC. Please fix the problem.

Can not smell it
This candle smells great in the jar but when lit, even for a long time, is completely unnoticeable! Waste of money!

Smells Great but very weak Scent!
Got this Large Jar two weeks ago, it smells fabulous, BUT the scent is so weak I am tempted to return it. I have owned 35-40 medium and large Yankee Jars in the past 5 years, and this is a disappointing purchase. The scent is weak. It does not even fill a tiny bathroom with scent. Have moved it to smallest room in the house and It still has no throw.

Nice scent, but little to no throw
I took my husband into the Yankee Candle shop to shop with me, and asked him to pick out a favorite scent. he settled on Mountain Lodge because he is the outdoorsy type, and the scent of fresh forest floor and sugar pines mixed with mountain herbs really appealed to him. I loved the scent too! We bought a double wick tumbler and burned it in our average-sized bedroom (no vaulted ceilings) twice before we decided that we simply couldn't smell it at all. This is a common issue I have been coming across with a good number of Yankee Candles lately - great scent but very little throw - which is disappointing to me and I hope they fix it soon. I work in the sensory field so I spend a good part of my day tasting and smelling, so I would think if there was even a marginal amount of throw to the candle, it would seem pretty strong to me. Hmmmm. I'm taking this one back to the store, YC always has a great return policy, but I am getting a little head shy about buying candles without smelling them burning first, as it's impossible to judge the amount of throw based off of sniffing the jar lid.

Very light scent for a dual-wick candle
I found this candle to have the lightest scent of any of the dual-wick candles I have bought from Yankee. It is pleasant enough, with a nice cedar overtone. But unlike with most of the tumblers, this candle did not even scent a single room very well. A bit disappointing when all the other tumbler style candles from Yankee have had a heavy scent, even overpowering a single room, meant more for a large space. But the cedar scent was nice, not a "fake cedar" as I have seen in many others from competing companies.

Not as good as the last one I ordered
Have ordered Mountain Lodge before and like the sent. I ordered three of the same this time and the scent was very weak in two of the three candles (have not burned the third). Even the color of the wax was lighter this time. I am not happy with the quality this time.

Geat scent on the masculine side. Not so great dispersion.
I love this scent. It is my favorite by far. I find it calming and earthy. It's not flowery; though it is just a little sweet. I am a man and I think this probably does come down on the masculine side of Yankee Candle's offerings.
I am disappointed in the tumbler's delivery of the scent. It seems to just hover around the candle without defusing into the room very well. Maybe it is the soy formulation, as I saw suggested in another review. Or maybe there was not quite enough scent in the two large tumblers I bought. I can sit with it unlit under my nose and enjoy that for a long time - But that's not quite the intended use. It won't stop me from ordering this scent again. But I might try the jar next time in hopes that it will fill the room better.
