I also know about ceramics and making candles. I hav had this happen a couple of times for a couple of reasons. It may be the warmers had a small flaw that was not sealed properly or not fired properly in kiln. Hot wax or fragrance oil seeps into the the ceramic, it can look cracked or hav a rough texture to it. Rarely seen it seep through but does happen. If so toss it immediately&#13;&#10; Scorching can occur if the warmer is too hot for what you are you are melting. I hav never been able to completely remove these once it happens.&#13;&#10; I burn 24-7. I use paper to out towel to soak up wax or oil from dish.. I hav done it so many times, it is just habit.
