Get it colder. We've been using these for years and I discovered if you put the wax container in the freezer for 15 minutes or so the wax will come right out with a gentle tap.

I usually put 1 1/2 to 2 of the small wax melts in my warmer. I change them every two daysfor the maximum scent.
