The warmer doesn’t get warm enough to activate the scents. The clerk told me to bring the item back and the store will exchange it with one that will work.

Love the Owl, Love the Timer, Dislike White LED
Love owls so I had to have this warmer. Having a timer is fantastic. Only negative I have on this item is the white LED light, I would have preferred a warm yellow LED to provide a warm affect as a candle glow.

I would not recommend putting the candle on top. The warmer is not made for the glass container. You should use the appropriate melt cup for your owl.

I have never had the wax evaporate. &nbsp;It just loses its smell. &nbsp;If there is an oil with the same scent, I add a few drops to refresh the wax.

Other people would also like to know the answer, there is not a YC near me and order by mail forces me to pay for shipping. I used to live in the Boston MA area my entire life and had no problem finding a YC they are everywhere on the Northshore if one store doesn't have it they can get it in 2 days. But where I live now there is no store for miles. Plus I miss Sun washed linen, or anything with that cloths line smell.

I use other melts and they do great. However for them to work you do need to empty out one of Yankees cups specifically designed for the &nbsp;warmer. Putting wax directly on to the heating element will more than likely cause some damage. So yes you can use other melts so long as you have a blank Yankee cup.&nbsp; Don&rsquo;t worry I still use your scents as well Yankee. I wish you&rsquo;d make another version honestly. 12 hour timer.&nbsp;
