Relaxing fragrance
I bought the easy melt scent and it smells amazing. The scent is relaxing and calming and fills the room. Even when it's not being melted on the base and just sitting on it while it's off you can still smell it in the room. I ordered another base my myself (first one and easy melt was a gift for my mother in law who loves it as well) for another bedroom and this was one of three easy melts I bought for it! I can't wait to receive it!

Standing next to a lilac bush in Spring
Its late spring and all the lilac bushes are in full bloom. Feel the sun warm your skin. Listen to the bees buzz through the bushes. The left over morning dew shimmers slightly on the purple blossoms in the late morning sun. The smell reminds you of childhood where things were simple.

Nostalgic and Beautiful!
My childhood home had lilac bushes out front and this scent is perfect for when I'm missing home. If you want even more of a garden scent in your home, while you have this one melting, try melting Meadow Showers in another room.

More Quality Control Needed at Warehouse
This second shipment I received was to replace defective five Lilac Blossom Easy MeltCups I received weeks ago. This shipment, like the previous one, included very old, discolored cups that no one would ever put on the floor of their stores. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated. My local Yankee Candle closed their doors permanently last year, so I was forced to get their products online. Not worth it. No oversight or quality controls. Each time the “packer” scribbled their name so it could not be identified :(

Quite Authentic!
To me, Lilac's represent growing up in the country, getting ready for sunshine and warmer days. Lilac Blossoms is a sweet floral w/ a hint of earthy green in the base notes. Though other flowers make up this fragrance, lilac is the dominant note. Cold sniff: I could smell the candle as soon as i opened the lid. It smelled heavenly, but I didn't smell Lily, Hyacinth or Tulips. I think they add body to the fragrance w/out overpowering the Lilac. I wanted an authentic lilac fragrance that smells like the bushes AND the blossoms, NOT old lady perfume. This isn't old lady at all due to the dewy green top notes. They are subtle & mostly blend w the floral notes, toning down the sweetness. I pick up on the earthy moss, and not so much the Bergamot, Cedarleaf & Vetiver, which tend to lean masculine. All together, these notes balance each other perfectly. They add a freshness that makes this candle smell like REAL lilacs! I rate the throw around a 7 for a medium sized room. It won't overpower those with sensitivities to floral notes. The fragrance itself is on the lighter side, which is a good thing when it has so many floral-heavy mid notes. Conclusion: Lilac Blossoms smells amazing on it's own, but you could mix it with other florals. I'd stick with the floral notes listed to avoid clashing with or drowning out the sweet, soft lilac. This is a candle I want on-hand at all times. It's a floral go-to for me. I recommend it to everyone who appreciates the smell of fresh, green, flowering lilac bushes. Overall Grade: A

Lilac Blossoms has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I've never gotten a bad one in any form, but the meltcups are my favorite. For me it's all lilac & hyacinth and very true to the real flowers. It has an incredibly strong scent & throw that lasts and lasts. I can melt it every day for a couple of weeks all day long. One meltcup scents the whole first floor. Some say it's relaxing. I find it invigorating and makes me want to go to my garden and pick flowers. I think those that prefer light scents or who don't care for Lilac, this may not be the one for them. Lilac Blossoms always reminds me of a family tradition. YC, thanks for the memories!!!

Beautiful scent
Lilacs, what can I say. I burn one of these and am instantly transported to an early spring afternoon, taking a walk with my two daughters. We always, stopped to smell and pick lilacs from over hanging bushes. We, of course, had to smell each one. Check it for the deepest purple coloration. Making sure the dtem was just long enough. Once finding just the right bouquet, head home to find the perfect vase. My daughters are now grown with children of their own. Guess what they do, pick lilacs with their children. So thank you Yankee, your lilac scents not only fill my home with that beautiful smell but it fills my heart with a cherished memory.

Can the cup be reused by adding wax melts when the scent dissipates?

Of course it can, but you need to place&nbsp;the cup into the freezer to freeze the wax and then pop it out of the cup. Your cup is empty, and you can start over with new wax.

Will this fit into the old wax tart melters and not just the easymelt cup warmers? I do not have the warmer for the cups, but I have the wax tart version where you put the tarts into a little bowl. Can I take the bowl out and just put this in instead?

I wouldn't suggest doing this. There is a lot of wax in the easymelt cup.It might overflow in a tart wax container.

The wax in the melt cup will not evaporate. After about 24 hours of use, you will notice the fragrance from your melt cup isn't as noticeable.
