I think Yankee Candle has some great apple scents, and this is the granddaddy of them all. Straight up smells like an apple, and is such a wonderful welcoming smell. Truly one of my top 5 five favorites.

Memories in a jar
Love this scent and this product. As a child my dad always had the car jars in his truck and the candles in his home. This was the only scent he ever had. After losing him in my teen years, this scent has been a way to hold on to a piece of him. My own daughters have even taken to saying "hi grandpa" anytime they smell the Macintosh scent after me sharing the story with them. Anytime I am having a hard day, or just need a little reminder that hes still with me I light my Macintosh candle and I smile everytime I get in my car and see/smell my car jar.

No Scent with the latest Apple Macintosh
These no longer have a scent to them. I purchased a few at Hallmark and everyone noticed the lovely scent. Now everyone comments that they miss the Apple smell in my cars. Sad to have to leave this type of reveiw, I miss my favorite scent.

Yep, I read the prior reviews, and I ordered anyway. You see, I usually find most fragrance items way too overpowering, so I thought this would be perfect for my very small car. But it just doesn't work. This gives off nothing-- no scent whatsoever. I'm really disappointed. I suggest the old paper air freshers and the vent items instead.

Please Don't Waste Your Money
The only time you can smell this product is when you put your nose right up to it. I put it in my car and can't smell it at all. I was sent this as a replacement product, because the product I received before was dried up when I received it. This was as useless and that was.

I would not recommend the gel car freshener in this scent. No scent at all. Very disappointed. Definitely needs improvement I prefer the cardboard car freshener in the macintosh scent.
