Someone at Yankee mistakenly thinks that you’ll find alyssum, citrus and orange blossom at the ocean. Instead this candle smells like very muted caramel, vanilla and musk The fragrance is dull, overly sweet and has no throw. YUK!

What I like the most about the candle is when you light it you can smell it in other rooms of the home. I have the double wick version of this candle and It is strong enough to make the whole home smell like it. The odor smells really good with no scent of candle wax burning as you sometimes do when burning them. I am definitely going to buy more of this specific candle. I also like that the candle itself lasts a long time even with a double wick lit, so the smell stays a bit longer when you put it out. The candle itself burns slowly so I appreciate its longevity. It is a woodsy smelling candle so it definitely has a masculine feeling to it so I recommend it to change up the place a bit if your looking for a bit of "energy" to add to the space. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Finished our basement during 2020 quarantine with a bar and steampunk/industrial theme...needed an air freshener and candle to fit and this has been our go-to from day one...not overpowering, masculine, woodsy - fits the perfect atmosphere when we pull some good bourbons together...

Natural (rather than "perfumey" or artificial or "soapy" smelling). I guess you could call it a masculine scent (I tend to favor neutral-leaning-towards masculine most of the time). I bought it to burn in my living room, but I love it so much, it's going in my office instead.
