A lovely minty chilly breeze
This is such a nice candle for not only the holidays, but the entire winter. It’s just this gentle fragrance with a strong mint note that absolutely fills the space. The mint smell is even stronger than North Pole Hideaway, another mint-based holiday scent. I highly recommend for those who want a seasonal fragrance that is pleasant without being aggressive.

Creating Christmas memories with the North Pole
Our home isn’t “Christmas” without this candle scent burning! I thought I’d had enough North Pole Candles from the previous years last year, so I didn’t order. I only had 4 left and it wasn’t enough. My home still was fragrant and Christmas-y, but it wasn’t the same, so I made sure that I purchased a North Pole Candle for every room this year with a few balsam and cedar candles near the artificial tree (I’m allergic to all trees, so can’t do a real one as much as I love to- Balsam Tree company does a great job in creating real looking fake trees for Christmas if you’re like me.) Anyway, the balsam & cedar candles burning near the tree (in the same room as the tree) give the faint scent of pine as a real tree would, and the North Pole is just lovely! Faint scents of cocoa, vanilla and mint. It’s a winter wonderland dream. I know this scent isn’t for everyone, but it is my favorite and am so thankful that YC brought it back (Shocking…they did discontinue it and then brought it back) Thank you for helping me create Christmas memories via house scents for my kids since 2003. Now grown, they’re asking what type of candles I burn at Christmas because they want it in their homes.

Yankee Candle regularly rotates seasonal fragrances to make room for new collections, and at this time the original North Pole scent has been discontinued. If you are looking for something similar, we recommend trying North Pole Frost or North Pole Greetings, which feature peppermint, vanilla, and icy notes reminiscent of the original. These are the closest alternatives currently available. I&rsquo;m not familiar with the fragrance of To The North Pole And Back, but what I can tell you about the scent of North Pole is that it is AMAZING! &nbsp; A light peppermint scent mixed with a warm vanilla scent. &nbsp;It is one of my all time favorites and I will burn it all year round. &nbsp;North Pole and Balsam &amp; Cedar are my &ldquo;go to&rdquo; Christmas fragrances. &nbsp;&nbsp;
