Unfortunately, I do not feel that it smells good or bad either one. To us, it does not have any smell. I was hoping for a bag of jelly beans and got a bag of air so to say. Again, I bought this a few months back so maybe the fragrance changed since then. If you are looking for a strong scented candle this is probably not the one. I gave it 2 stars because it is pretty & I don't feel any Yankee product deserves 1 star because they do burn really well.
