Description
To enjoy your candles to their fullest, a certain amount of care is required. Keeping their wicks trimmed properly will help your candles burn fully and last longer. Specifically, your candle's wick should be trimmed after every 4 hours of burn time. Let the candle come to room temperature, then trim the wick to 1/8-inch before relighting. That length helps create complete combustion, which means less soot is formed while the candle is burning. This is where our Perfect Wick Trimmer comes in - place the bottom of the trimmer flush with the candle surface, rock the trimmer back so that its "elbow" rests on the surface, this keeps the trimmer at a 45-degree angle and helps ensure the cut is to the proper length. Simple! Enjoy your candles and their fragrances, then repeat again after every 4 hours of burn time.

I have been using my wick trimmer for years. This is a quality item. I don't know what I would do without it as the wicks need to be trim and this is the perfect way to do the trimming. Highly recommend this product. No candle loving person should be without a wick trimmer.

Well made and useful
First time I've ever tried an official wick trimmer. Also used scissors and I don't know what in the heck I was waiting for! These are great...obviously a better angle, feel very sturdy and well made, and the little lip on the outer edges of the blades help to catch the wick you just trimmed so make it easy to get out of the jar. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely trim it before use and every few hrs. It helps the candle burn more evenly and you won't get burned off pieces of the wick in the wax

I have switched over for the most part to the Large Pillar Candles, and now realize the wick trimmer won't fit once you're down to the last couple of inches in the large pillars. I have average to small hands and still can't make it work.
