Yes, the snowman has a removable lid, his hat. You can burn a large jar candle inside him, but there are no holes for light to come through. And, you cannot burn a jar candle with his hat on him.

I purchased three snowman, and none of them came cracked or broken at all. There is a removable hat, but nothing came cracked or broken but my mailman is very gentle as well!

I ordered three of these for gifts for my Tia&rsquo;s and sister, and none of them came with a hole! So I think that the photo was just deceiving!

The snowman&rsquo;s hat comes off and you can put one of the jar candles inside. &nbsp;It can also be used as a cute cookie jar.
