Have you read the story of Pinkalicious, and her love for everything pink? Pink bubble gum, pink peonies, pink princess dresses, and of course, pink cupcakes! Pinkalicious develops a case of pinkitis when she ignores her parent’s warning not to eat too many pink cupcakes. . . The nationally loved story by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann celebrates all things pink while showing that being yourself is best of all. The story comes alive this April at Yankee Candle Village and Chandler’s Restaurant! Produced by Ja’Duke Inc, four performances are scheduled for April School Vacation Week. A very special Pinkalicious luncheon will be hosted at Chandler's Restaurant prior to each show, along with a meet and greet with the cast and crew. Performances will take place at Yankee Candle Village’s Fitness Center on Saturday, April 14, Monday, April 16, Friday, April 20, and Saturday April 21. All performances begin at 1 pm. Tickets are $8.00 per child, $10.00 per adult, available online at www.jaduke.com and at the door one hour prior to each show. Seating is general admission. Reservations are recommended for all Pinkalicious Luncheons, which begin at 11 am each show day at Chandler’s Restaurant. An opportunity for parents and their children to explore the craft of cooking in a no pressure setting utilizing ingredients and utensils safe and accessible to kids. Classes will be structured so as to provide ample opportunities for children to be involved in most of the preparation, but may require parental supervision when it comes time to finish the dish. The intention is to familiarize children with the raw ingredients used to prepare a variety of foods and inform them of the nutritional values associated with them.
Classes will last approximately one hour and will be taught in a private dining area in Chandler’s restaurant. A brief tour of Chandler’s kitchen can be accommodated upon request at the end of each class.

Chandler's Restaurant at Yankee Candle Village is a proud supporter of Pecoy Signature Homes local builder for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. This August Extreme Makeover Home Edition came to Connecticut to recognize the Hill family and Chandler's Restaurant was there to help feed the volunteers and volunteered to work some hours on the home. Simply an incredible experience!
