the label is attractive and the color is really nice
I think I would like the fragrance more if it wasn't sooooo perfumy. I tend to like fragrances that are more realistic smelling. Sometimes the fragrances can be too fake smelling. this isn't bad, but it's not one I'd go out and buy again soon like the TULIP fragrance.

Another summer winner!
This is another of YC's really great summertime candles. Some of the other summer ones are too sweet or too fruity, but this one hits it out of the park. Every time our UPS guy comes in the foyer, he says.... I always love the way it smells in your house' and during the spring and summer, it would be because of this, Pink Sands and Turquoise Sky that he says that... but this is a big hit in the bathroom as well.

Golden Sands
I absolutely love this scent! I was a little hesitant since Pink Sands is usually my go to summer scent and I HATE Sand & Sun but this scent is amazing! It has almost a fruity smell and the color is beautiful. I opened it up and lit it immediately. My hubby and I are in love!

Golden Sands is sensual
Golden Sands is a lovely, sensual, sweet flowery smell. I don't get the typical beachy smell which is fine with me. This one is different. Recommend this one highly.

Excellent spring/summer scent
Label blends with all my sea shells in my home. Love the scent, reminds of my trips to the ocean. Only draw back is this scent does not come in tea light form.

Champagne and the shore.
I am a huge fan of Yankee Candle's Sun and Sand. So I was not too sure that Golden Sands was a scent to be ordered (I get all my Yankee Candle items online). I decided to give it a try, as I had a coupon and thought I could give it to neighbor if it wasn't a scent I would use in my home. The first time I pulled the top off the large jar, I knew that no neighbor would be getting a gift from me! A very light, but satisfying and warm scent. I was immediately reminded of sitting on my lanai, glass of champagne in hand and enjoying the view from my waterside home.

I was expecting more...
I'm relatively new to the hobby of "scent." I tried a tart warmer and loved it, so I thought the candles would bring more variety to the scented decorations in my home. This is the first large jar candle I've purchased and I must say, I'm quite disappointed! For 29 dollars, I had hoped the candle would scent up a decent sized area. Turns out, the only time I notice the scent is if I confine this candle to my small bathroom. Overall, not a bad thing but I just wanted "more," especially considering the price.
That said, I do like the scent. I am a male so I traditionally gravitated to mid summers night and the out doorsy smells. This one is a bit sweeter with still a hint of outdoor freshness.
I will likely return it for something that is more potent. Do you have any recommendations? Are the candles rated with varying levels of scent "strength!"

Pleasant Smell
This is probably one of the top smelling candles to me. It is fresh clean and not too strong.
