Fresh Cut Roses and other Yankee Candles I love this particular candle - Fresh Cut Roses. It smells just like the rose garden located near my childhood home. Every time I light it, I go back in time and cherish the memories. Thank you for a trip down memory lane. Who thought it would come from a candle! I grew up in the northwest and am so happy that my home is filled with candles that remind me of scents not only from the ocean but from the beautiful pine forests in the mountains. I am always amazed at how many of your candles offer true aromas of what you'd expect. It does demonstrate that much research goes into providing your customers with a wonderful product. Thank you! our family loves this scent We love this scent of fresh cut roses and have it all over our home. We have bought it for gifts and received many compliments. August 21, 2014
One Of The Truest Scents Yankee Offers This reminds me of my childhood. My father grew roses and they would be practically wild and growing up the sides of the brick stairs leading to our front door, weaving between the handrails beside them. I remember my sisters and I would tear the roses from the bushes and tuck them in our hair as we played, sometimes making crowns. With this you really smell the entire rose - the petals and the leaves. This scent is strong and authentic. I had first purchased this in a large tumbler and had a burn issue with it but of course a quick call to customer service and as usual all was made right. August 17, 2014
Smells just like the real thing! One of my all time favorite candles. Smells like a bouquet of roses/rose bushes. The scent is not overpowering, I can burn it for hours on end. Love! August 10, 2014
Happy, Happy, Happy! Yes one very happy customer here after numerous purchases of trying to find a strong floral scent I finally found Fresh Cut Roses ~ Excellent for my home office or bedroom strong throw without being over powering or too sweet. This large jar one wick candle gave me well over 150 hours of pleasure I especially loved burning it when in my bedroom relaxing and reading my book or working on the laptop ~ it transformed me to a lovely calming garden. I highly recommend this candle after trying at least 4 other floral scented YC and being disappointed with all of them to finally find one that has a strong throw, burns evenly and is refreshing each time it is lit has put a smile on this writers face. Thank you Yankee Candle for being so patient while I discovered a floral that worked for me, now for goodness sakes please don't discontinue this one, like others that I have found and fallen in love with.....Cheers I am now off to enjoy my bedroom garden.... Totally Realistic I have loved this scent for years! Why it is no longer available in stores, I don;t know. I took an unlit candle and stood it on my dresser, and it still emits scent. Also, what happened to Granny Smith??? August 9, 2014
literally smells like roses I love this candle becuase it smells just like the rose bushes my dad would grow in the backyard of the house I used to live in. Beautiful candle that will be my eternal favorite. August 8, 2014
Too strong I love Yankee candles for myself and to give as gifts. I recently bought at least 30 candles during the half off sale online, and while I usually stick to fruity and baking smells I thought I would branch out and try a few flowery scents. I thought roses would be a safe soft, subtle flower so I tried that one. When it arrived I lit it and you could smell it right away, but the scent seemed off to me and very strong. My daughter said it reminded her of new car smell, and for me it smelled kind of like plastic. With the hundreds of candles I have bought over the years I have only thrown away a few candles that I could not tolerate the smell of them burning. When I spend that much money on a candle I do not expect to have to throw it in the trash. My Yankee Candle Shop said that if I lit the candle I cannot return it, but how are you supposed to give the scent a chance without lighting it at least once or twice? August 7, 2014
