The scent takes me right to the beach!
The moment I open the lid I am right back to the beach..especially during the gray winter months. The beach is my favorite place in all the world and this candle brings it to my home!

Beach Wood
my sister had the Beach Wood in a tea light candle. I loved it . I purchased the larger size to burn while i cleaned at a salon. I must say I am very disappointed .You cant smell it as others I have purchased. There is not one Yankee Candle that I have you cant not smell throughout the room inwhich it is being burnt,other than Beach Wood. I would not suggest this fragrance , however there are many that i would.

Clean and fresh scent.
Makes my entire house smell good. I have both the candles and the wax melts. Just wish they had the electric plug ins in this fragrence.

Sandalwood Scented, Pretty
Mine has been lit over 6 hours and hardly any wax is gone. I agree it's not powerful but too much vetiver is obnoxious. I love my festive scents in the summer and summer fragrances all winter.
Beach Wood has unisex appeal and I love that it looks like poured sand in the jar.

Soft Scent
I think this is a great scent to use in a smaller space when you are burning stronger scents in the larger spaces of your home. It sent is wonderful but very faint and delicate. It you want the same scent but stronger, the YC Sun and Sand scent is your best bet and can totally fill the room with a stronger Beach Wood scent. To me, they are basically the same but one is just stronger than the other :-)

I'm normally not a "freshie," but...
...this one drew me in!
I'm typically the type of candle lover who goes for food/bakery/cinnamon types of smells.
However, for whatever reason, Beach Wood was different.
I really liked the "different" smell. Maybe it was the vetiver, who knows.
I bought a large jar and the wire mesh lantern from last year's summer collection. I have it as part of outside decor and I enjoy it while lazing around out on my deck.
It's great, even for those of you who are typically "food" types.

The smell is AMAZING
I fell in love with the smell the moment I put my nose to the jar, however when I got home and the candle started to burn the frangrance was very faint!. I really am looking for a frangrance to fill my entire apartment. If you are looking for a candle to fill your entire house with the frangrance its not for you. This would be perfect for a small space such as a bathroom.
