Crisp Smell
Macintosh is one of my very very smells that Yankee candle creates. It is EXACTLY the way a Macintosh orchard smells like in New England. The scent reminds me of home and being little again. We'd go apple picking together as a family. It's a great way to remember good times with people you've lost. Thanks so much for making this scent available in every candle/wax form.

love the scent
I have been using the Macintosh melt cups for awhile now and I just love them. The scent is so refreshing. It makes my house smell like fresh cut apples. The scent is not too strong and for someone with allergies that is important. I live in a an old house and sometimes it can smell old. The macintosh melt cup makes my house smell new and fresh. I love just love the way it makes me feel. It seems to lift my spirits which is something we all can use right now.

Love the gel cups, so fragrant
I bought one of these not knowing what exactly it was. I used it in my existing meltcup warmer and the fragrance on these lasts way longer than the meltcups or wax tarts... i have now invested in the warmer and more gel cups in various fragrances..

Fabulous fragrance!
I traded in my tart warmer for the gel tins and I am so glad I did! The gel is not only more fragrant but it last longer too. I also noticed longer have to worry about wax spills which is a huge plus!

True Apple Orchard Perfect for Fall
After no luck with other scents I decided to go to old reliable, a macintosh apple. The exchange process was quick. This scent is a clean, crisp, and refreshing apple scent without any spice. Just a clean slightly sweet slightly tart red delicious apple smell. This gel tin has a fragrant throw even when just opened and placed on the warmer.
I love apple scents and I love autumn scents. I say this scent while perfect for Fall is good year-round too. I recommend this to anyone who loves the smell of fresh apples, but may not always want cinnamon, or may not want something too sweet. It does fill the room!
A walk in an orchard awaits me when I enter my room. A favorite for sure. My favorite Yankee Candle scent.

Works great as a car air freshener!
I bought this item several months ago for my warmer. I thought I would try it in my car's cup holder to see how it would work. I couldn't be happier! I prefer to use this type of air freshener rather than the clip ons.

Love Macintosh!
I love the majority of Yankee Candle scents but if I have to choose only one, I choose "Macintosh" because it is a clean fresh scent, not overwhelming, and makes your whole house smell wonderful regardless of the the time of year. I often have lots of comments asking what the smell is and how it is so enjoyed and they are surprised most times that it is a wax melt. Refreshing, Pleasing, Surprising and Enjoyable.

Stronger than the candle!
This scent is amazing and I truly love it in the new gel tin. It is a wonderful, clean apple scent, and I believe it is stronger than the Macintosh Candle. I have it on my counter in the corner of my kitchen, and even when I have the burner turned off, I catch a whiff of it when I enter the room. I like it so much that I went back to the store to get two more tins of it!

Not sure about hours but I find if using it a few hours at a time they will last 5-6 days maybe longer depending on the scent. Some are stronger than others. I really like them though!!

You would get a slight scent but nowhere near the intensity of when it heats up in the warmer. I think it would also depend on the scent as some are stronger than others.

I use my usual electric warmer and set the tin with the gel in it right in the warmer. Have not taken the out of the tin, actually I don't know how they are meant to be used but that's working for me. I really like them.
