The candle industry conducts health and safety studies for all materials used in our products. These include toxicological and dermatological testing. The fragrances approved for candle usage - whether synthesized or &amp;quot;natural&amp;quot; - do not release toxic chemicals. These tests are required by regulators, and they are taken very seriously. We are committed to safety and along with regulators we rely on scientific studies to assure product safety. Consumers can be confident that a well-made and properly burned candle, whether scented or unscented, will burn cleanly and safely. If you want to use essential oils with your pets, there is an easy way to do it safely. We suggest visiting your veterinarian. Your veterinarian will let you know which oils are potentially harmful and can also provide you with information about the best carrier oils to properly dilute essential oils for dogs, as well as appropriate dosages.
