Great scent if allergic to live Xmas trees
For many years during Xmas holidays we missed the smell of a live Xmas tree in our home. Because of allergies we could only use artificial trees. Don’t recall when I purchased my first Balsam scented candle but I do recall how happy we were to have the scent filling up our home. Thank you Yankee Candle!

One of our favorites
The candles are long lasting and the scent continues to the very last bit of wick. Many scented items affect my sensitivity to odors and perfumes but most Yankee Candles do not with very few exceptions. IMO the best candles on the market. Balsam & Cedar is just one of our many favorites because it brings the fresh smell of the forest inside.

It’s ok.....
It only lasts for what it says is 30 days but it only really smells that first few times you use it then the smell gets really mild and you can barely smell it.

Hid this in the fake Christmas tree in hopes of making the room smell like pine. Can only smell it when up close, but is still nice. Since it is meant to be in a much smaller space, no complaints.

Can these vent clips be used on heating vents in house?

I suppose you could use them clipped to a room vent, but you would need several. The actual disc is only a little over an inch in diameter and only carries a small amount (maybe 1/2 to 3/4 tsp) of the scent concentrate. A car, truck, or SUV is a small volume when compared even with a small bedroom. The bottom line - these clips might not be the best choice. I would recommend a Scenterpiece melter with timer and the melt cups in Balsam and Cedar.
